Sylvan Lake & Area Serenity Pet Shelter Society is a registered non-profit society and a registered Canadian Charity.
Sylvan Lake and Area Serenity Pet Shelter Society consists of a small group of volunteers who work diligently to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home canines and felines needing our help. As a non-profit organization, we provide rescue services when needed, to dogs and cats for a variety of reasons including trauma, abandonment, or surrender in Sylvan Lake and other areas in Central Alberta and place these animals in the safety of a foster home system while awaiting suitable placement in forever, adoptive homes. Our goal is to build a permanent no-kill shelter. |

ANIMALS READY FOR ADOPTION
All of our rescued animals are spayed or neutered, have a health check-up, and are given the care they need to be ready for you to adopt. To adopt an animal, please find our form and details under the POLICIES > FORMS section of our menu. An interview process ensures that our animals will end up where they are happiest.

VOLUNTEER
Serenity depends on its volunteers to help rescue, care for, and fundraise to take care of its animals. We have a variety of volunteer tasks and position available at all times. We'd love to hear from you!
